Unique and Eye-Catching Design

For a long time, Acura has been forced to endure criticism regarding the design of its vehicles. Even if it remains a matter of taste, Acura decided to make extra efforts to offer creations with a more particular, more attractive, and appealing design.

What’s more, all this is reinforced with a more aggressive signature with the Type S variant. This is noticeable at the front with more prominent air intakes, but also at the rear with an exhaust that takes on four shapes. Not to mention the sides where we discover with pleasure the presence, through the front rims, of red calipers signed Brembo, the reference in braking! However, you won’t get attention only for its styling. In fact, if the style is different, especially at the front with the aforementioned air intakes, it's because under the hood, Acura will offer the most powerful engine in the history of its SUV. This engine, which will also be found in the TLX Type S sedan, is a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that produces 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. All this will be enough to propel the performance SUV to 100 km/h in less than six seconds.

This engine will work in tandem with a 10-speed automatic transmission, a model of efficiency. Needless to say, the brand's all-wheel-drive system, one of the industry's benchmarks, will be part of the equation. The latter is called SH-AWD for Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.
